Wrice Financial Group provides managed futures services involving commodity interests, which may include futures contracts, options on futures, and other permitted derivatives.
Where Wrice Financial Group is granted discretionary trading authority, client accounts remain established in the client’s name with an approved futures commission merchant (“FCM”) or other appropriate financial institution. Wrice Financial Group receives trading authority over the account but does not take physical custody of client assets.
Clients maintain ownership of their accounts and generally receive account statements, confirmations, and account access directly from the financial institution carrying the account.
Managed Futures
Wrice Financial Group’s managed futures services are designed for clients seeking professionally managed exposure to futures, options, and related derivatives.
Depending upon the client’s objectives and the applicable trading program, strategies may include:
- Directional futures positioning
- Options strategies
- Hedging and protective options
- Premium-generating strategies
- Diversification across selected futures markets
- Position sizing and portfolio exposure controls
- Drawdown and volatility management
The specific strategy, markets, fees, material risks, and other terms applicable to a managed account will be described in the appropriate client agreements and regulatory disclosure materials.
Website descriptions are provided for general informational purposes and are not a substitute for those documents.
Client Assets & Custody
Wrice Financial Group does not require managed futures clients to transfer investment assets directly to Wrice Financial Group for trading.
Client assets remain in separately maintained brokerage accounts held in the client’s name with an approved FCM or other appropriate financial institution.
When authorized by the client, Wrice Financial Group may receive discretionary trading authority permitting the firm to place transactions in the client’s account in accordance with the applicable trading program.
The institution carrying the account remains responsible for applicable custody, trade execution, clearing, account statements, confirmations, and other brokerage functions.
Risk Disclosure
THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING COMMODITY INTERESTS CAN BE SUBSTANTIAL.
Futures, options, foreign exchange, and other derivatives involve significant risk and are not suitable for every investor or business.
Leverage can magnify both gains and losses. Depending upon the instruments and strategies employed, losses may exceed the amount initially committed to a position, and additional funds may be required to maintain positions during adverse market conditions.
Options strategies involve additional risks. Option buyers may lose the entire premium paid, while certain option-writing strategies may expose an account to substantial losses.
Hedging strategies are intended to manage specified risks but cannot eliminate all market risk and may reduce or eliminate potential gains that otherwise could have occurred.
There can be no assurance that any trading or hedging strategy will achieve its intended objective.
Independent Verification
Prospective clients are encouraged to perform independent due diligence before entering into a financial advisory or managed account relationship.
